I desperatly need help with my homework,What is a factor tree

I dont understand factors. I really want to know how to make factors.

How do you make a factor treeFactor numbers using a tree diagram.
A factor tree is basically finding factors of numbers using multiplication tables.
Example:42 = 42 is divisible by 2;

also we can write like 7 * 6

427 * 67 * 2 * 3

7 * 2 * 3 * 1

These are the prime factors of 42, which cannot be broken further.
